Lineage Alaskan Purple Seeds Alaskan Purple strain resulting from the cross between a Northern Lights x Afghan will produce a hybrid strain that is mostly indica 70% Indica / 30% Sativa. The strain will likely have citrus, earthy, hashish, and sweet flavors with a strong, mostly indica body high. It also has a Medium THC of 15 – 20%, making it a great choice for those looking for a strong and relaxing experience. It is often used to treat symptoms such as Fatigue, Muscle Spasms and Stress. However, as with all cannabis strains, it is important to consult with a healthcare professional before using Northern Lights or any other cannabis product for medical purposes. Origin The Alaskan Purple strain was created in Europe by expert breeders in Amsterdam’s Red Light District. This variety is a cross between Northern Lights and Afghan, two famous indica strains known for their potency and resilience. In addition to its strong indica background, the strain also incorporates Og Kush and Brazilian sativa genetics, giving it a unique profile that blends relaxation with uplifting effects. Blimburn Seeds enhanced the strain further by crossing it with both Northern Lights and Afghan like Northern Ligths x Chronic. As a result, Alaskan Purple strain seeds offer a reliable growing experience, delivering a balanced mix of indica and sativa characteristics. Alaskan Purple Sativa or Indica? Alaskan Purple strain is a balanced hybrid with a dominant indica profile 70% Indica / 30% Sativa. It combines the relaxing, body-focused effects of its Northern Lights and Afghan heritage with uplifting sativa qualities from its Brazilian lineage. This blend makes the strain versatile, offering both physical relaxation and mental clarity. While its indica dominance is prominent, the sativa influence adds an energetic, creative edge, making it suitable for both day and evening use. Alaska Purple seeds consistently produce plants with this hybrid structure, giving growers the best of both worlds. Alaskan Purple Effects The Purple Alaskan strain offers a balanced mix of physical relaxation and mental stimulation. Thanks to its Northern Lights and Afghan genetics, the strain provides deep body relaxation, making it ideal for relieving stress and tension. At the same time, the Brazilian sativa genetics bring a mild cerebral high, encouraging creativity and mental clarity without overwhelming sedation. Alaskan Purple strain is particularly popular among medicinal users seeking relief from pain, anxiety, and insomnia, while still enjoying an uplifted mood. The combination of soothing and energizing effects makes this strain a favorite for both recreational and therapeutic purposes. Germinating Alaskan Purple Strain It is important to germinate your Alaskan Purple cannabis seeds carefully if you want to have a healthy harvest from day one. Although there are several methods to germinate our Feminized cannabis seeds, at Blimburn Seeds, we recommend our customers to follow our easy and simple technique. Before removing our Alaskan Purple Feminized seeds from their packaging, remember that cannabis seeds are alive and delicate. Bacteria can easily infect seeds and ruin the germination process, so be sure to wear gloves. Set Up Your Germination Station: Begin by moistening two paper towels with room temperature water. Lay one paper towel on a plate and spread the seeds on it, spacing them about 2 cm apart. Place the second paper towel on top of the seeds, and make sure to remove any excess water from the plate. Cover the setup with another opaque plate and store it in a warm, dark location. Monitoring: Make sure paper towels are still moist by checking every 4-6 hours and spraying room temperature water. Typically, germination should occur within 24 to 120 hours. Once the seeds have sprouted tap roots, plant them with the roots facing down and cover with about 2 cm of soil. Remember to water the soil regularly by spraying to keep it moist. It may take up to two weeks for the plants to start growing. Ideal Conditions: Maintain a consistent temperature of 69.8 ºF – 78.8 ºF (21 ºC – 26 ºC) in the germination area. Use purified room temperature bottled water with a pH level between 5.5 and 6.5. Keep the seeds away from light, allowing exposure for less than 1 minute before and during germination. Avoid touching the seeds or applying pressure to them. Record Keeping: To qualify for the three month germination guarantee, it is necessary to follow all the steps outlined in our germination guidelines. Please do not use alternative germination methods, such as using a water bottle or planting directly into soil. Document the germination process through photography or video, as it will be requested when assessing claims for replacement products. Alaskan Purple Flowering Time Alaskan Purple strain seeds are known for their relatively short flowering time, a trait passed down from their indica-dominant genetics. On average, the strain flowers in 8 to 10 weeks, making it an attractive option for growers looking for fast and reliable results. The strain’s robust genetics, influenced by Northern Lights and Afghan, ensure consistent flowering times and high yields. With proper care, Alaskan Purple strain plants produce dense, resinous buds, making it a reliable choice for both novice and experienced cultivators seeking a quick turnaround and quality harvest. How to Grow Alaskan Purple Strain Alaskan Purple seeds can be grown indoors or outdoors under optimal conditions, to avoid any problems during their development. Although they are compact and robust, moderately easy to grow and hardy, we should always prevent any pests. You can use different growing methods to retain and enhance the terpenes and flavors of your Feminized Alaskan Purple strain buds. Use a quality substrate. Perlite, peat, or coco coir are ideal for moisture retention. Thanks to the experience of our customers with our Alaskan Purple seeds, we know that we can medium yields. For optimal indoor cultivation, Blimburn Seeds advises wide, vertical spaces and the use of the ScrOG method to obtain a uniform plane and increase the size of the lower flowers. If you plan to grow our Feminized seeds outdoors, we have developed a grow guide for optimal cultivation in any area of the world. Remember that our cannabis plants also need good nutrients when our Feminized seeds are seedlings, in their vegetative period, and in their flowering period. When growing cannabis seeds outdoors, choose the best date for your crop and a place where cannabis plants can receive the most hours of sunshine. If you would like to grow your seeds indoors, be sure to have good tents, textile pots for growing, LED lighting, an air extractor to circulate clean air, and of course a good carbon filter to avoid problems with neighbors or the law. Keep daytime temperatures between 68℉-80℉ and nighttime temperatures between 7℉-9℉ cooler. Feminized plants need low humidity to thrive. Keep relative humidity (RH) levels at 55%-60% during the vegetative phase. Reduce RH to around 40% during the flowering phase. By harvest time, you can reduce RH to 30%. Outdoors: growers in the northern hemisphere should sow their cannabis seeds in April for harvest in mid October. Healthy Feminized Alaskan Purple strain produce about 17 – 23 oz/plant | 500 – 660 gr/plant of buds each. Indoors: these crops have a flowering time of 8 – 10 weeks and produce about 1.47 oz/ft2 | 450 gr/m2. Perfect Climate for Cultivating The Alaskan Purple strain flourishes best in a Temperate climate or environments with consistent, warm temperatures. Optimal growth conditions fall in the temperature range of 70-85°F (21-29°C), providing the right heat for this strain to reach its full potential. Alaskan Purple adapts well to different elevations but favors sunny areas where constant sunlight is available. While it is resilient to varying weather conditions, annual precipitation of
