Origin
Candyland strain seeds is a hybrid strain with strong roots in American cannabis genetics. It originates from a cross between Platinum Cookies and Granddaddy Purple, both iconic strains.
Platinum Cookies brings OG Kush and Girl Scout Cookies genetics, contributing to Candyland’s potent and flavorful profile.
On the other side, Granddaddy Purple passes down Purple Urkle and Big Bud genetics, adding a rich, fruity aroma and colorful appearance.
This genetic combination results in Candyland seeds that produce vibrant plants known for their dense, trichome covered buds. The strain’s diverse lineage ensures a unique experience for cannabis enthusiasts.
Candyland Strain Sativa or Indica?
Candyland Strain is a sativa dominant hybrid, 30 % indica 70 % sativa, offering the uplifting effects commonly associated with sativa strains. Thanks to its Platinum Cookies genetics, it delivers a euphoric, creative high, perfect for daytime use.
However, its Granddaddy Purple parent brings subtle indica effects, providing a balanced body relaxation that can ease tension.
When grown from Candyland seeds, plants exhibit typical sativa traits such as taller stature and thinner leaves. This makes it a great choice for growers looking for the invigorating effects of sativa while still benefiting from the calming indica influences.

As a sativa dominant strain, its high typically starts with an energetic, mood enhancing buzz that stimulates creativity and social interaction. The indica properties from Granddaddy Purple help calm the body, providing relief without causing drowsiness or couch-lock.
Germinating Candyland Seeds
It is important to germinate your Candyland seeds carefully if you want to have a healthy harvest from day one.
Although there are several methods to germinate our feminized cannabis seeds, from Blimburn Seeds we recommend our customers to follow our easy and simple technique.
Before removing our Candyland strain seeds from their packaging, remember that cannabis seeds are alive and delicate. The PH of our hands full of bacteria can easily infect them and ruin our germination.
Set Up Your Germination Station: Begin by moistening two paper towels with room temperature water. Lay one paper towel on a plate and spread the seeds on it, spacing them about 2 cm apart. Place the second paper towel on top of the seeds, and make sure to remove any excess water from the plate. Cover the setup with another opaque plate and store it in a warm, dark location.
Monitoring: Make sure paper towels are still moist by checking every 4-6 hours and spraying room-temperature water. Typically, germination should occur within 24 to 120 hours.
Once the seeds have sprouted tap roots, plant them with the roots facing down and cover with about 2 cm of soil. Remember to water the soil regularly by spraying to keep it moist. It may take up to two weeks for the plants to start growing.
Ideal Conditions: Maintain a consistent temperature of 69.8 ºF – 78.8 ºF (21 ºC – 26 ºC) in the germination area. Use purified room temperature bottled water with a pH level between 5.5 and 6.5. Keep the seeds away from light, allowing exposure for less than 1 minute before and during germination. Avoid touching the seeds or applying pressure to them.
Record Keeping: To qualify for the three-month germination guarantee, it is necessary to follow all the steps outlined in our germination guidelines. Please do not use alternative germination methods, such as using a water bottle or planting directly into soil. Document the germination process through photography or video, as it will be requested when assessing claims for replacement products.
