Germinating Hippo High Seeds
It’s important to germinate your Hippo High Feminized cannabis seeds with care for a successful harvest right from the start. At Blimburn Seeds, we advise our customers to follow our simple and effective germination technique to ensure optimal results.
Set Up Your Germination Station: Begin by moistening two paper towels with room-temperature water. Lay one paper towel on a plate and spread the seeds on it, spacing them about 2 cm apart. Place the second paper towel on top of the seeds, and make sure to remove any excess water from the plate. Cover the setup with another opaque plate and store it in a warm, dark location.
Monitoring: Make sure paper towels are still moist by checking every 4-6 hours and spraying room temperature water. Typically, germination should occur within 24 to 120 hours. Once the seeds have sprouted tap roots, plant them with the roots facing down and cover with about 2 cm of soil. Remember to water the soil regularly by spraying to keep it moist. It may take up to two weeks for the plants to start growing.
Ideal Conditions: Maintain a consistent temperature of 70-90ºF in the germination area. Use purified room temperature bottled water with a pH level between 5.5 and 7. Keep the seeds away from light, allowing exposure for less than 1 minute before and during germination. Avoid touching the seeds or applying pressure to them.
Record Keeping: To qualify for the three month germination guarantee, it is necessary to follow all the steps outlined in our germination guidelines. Please do not use alternative germination methods, such as using a water bottle or planting directly into soil. Document the germination process through photography or video, as it will be requested when assessing claims for replacement products.
Hippo High Strain Flowering Time
For those considering cultivation, knowing Hippo High Strain is flowering time is important. This exceptional strain boasts a moderate flowering period, typically spanning 10 to 11 weeks. This feature is highly advantageous for growers, as it allows for a reasonably quick turnaround from planting to harvest.
During this phase, Hippo High feminized seeds develop into resinous, high quality plants. With proper care, you can expect abundant yields of top-tier buds. Keep in mind that environmental conditions and cultivation methods can slightly affect the flowering time, so diligent monitoring is essential for a successful harvest of this outstanding cannabis strain.
Grow Info Hippo High Seeds
Hippo Cannabis High feminized seeds can be grown indoors or outdoors under optimal conditions to ensure peak development. These seeds produce medium-to-tall plants with a vigorous sativa-leaning stretch. While they are hardy and moderately easy to grow, their vertical growth requires sufficient space to flourish. We should always implement preventative measures against pests to protect the plant’s health.
You can use different growing methods to retain and enhance the terpenes and flavors of your Feminized Hippo High buds.
Use a quality substrate. Perlite, peat, or coco coir are ideal for moisture retention.
Thanks to the experience of our customers with our Hippo High seeds, we know that we can increase yields up to 20%.
For optimal indoor cultivation, Blimburn Seeds recommends using the ScrOG method to control height and maximize light penetration across the canopy. This technique is essential to manage the Sativa-driven vertical stretch and ensure a uniform flowering plane, increasing the quality of the lower flowers. If you plan to grow our Feminized seeds outdoors, we have developed a grow guide for optimal cultivation in any area of the world.
Remember that our cannabis plants also need good nutrients when our Feminized seeds are seedlings, in their vegetative period, and in their flowering period. When you grow cannabis seeds outdoors, choose the best date for your crop and a place where cannabis plants can receive the most hours of sunshine. If you would like to grow your seeds indoors, be sure to have good tents, textile pots for growing, LED lighting, an air extractor to circulate clean air, and of course a good carbon filter to avoid problems with neighbors or the law.
Keep daytime temperatures between 68℉-80℉ and ensure nighttime temperatures are 7℉-9℉ lower than your daytime settings. Hippo High Feminized plants thrive with carefully controlled humidity: maintain relative humidity (RH) levels at 55%-60% during the vegetative phase, reducing to 40%-45% during the flowering phase. By harvest time, maintain a stable RH of around 40% to protect the dense, resinous buds from excess moisture.
Outdoors: breeders in the northern hemisphere should sow their cannabis seeds in April for harvest in mid October. Healthy Feminized Hippo High seeds produce about 21 – 31 oz/plant | 600 – 900 gr/plant of buds each. Indoors, these crops have a flowering time of 10 – 11 Weeks and produce about 1.97 – 2.29 oz/ft2 | 600 – 700 gr/m2.
Best Climate for Growing
Hippo High feminized seeds thrive best in temperate or Mediterranean climates with warm summers and long, mild autumns. As a photoperiod strain with a 10–11 week flowering window, it requires stable condition
