OG Kush Regular Seeds resulting from the cross between a Lemon Thai x Pakistan x Chemdawg will produce a hybrid strain Mostly Indica 60% Indica / 40% Sativa.
Regular seeds cannot be classified as feminized seeds. They are the original seeds from nature, containing two sexes, like humans: male and female. The strain will likely have a complex Diesel, Fruity and Lemon flavor with a strong, euphoric hybrid high.
It also has a Medium THC 15% – 20%, making it a great choice for those looking for a powerful and balanced hybrid experience.
Origin
This strain originates from American seed banks known for their advanced breeding techniques. This regular strain is a classic cross of Lemon Thai x Pakistan x Chemdawg, developed to enhance its potent effects and distinct earthy aroma. American breeders have meticulously crafted this strain to achieve the highest quality standards and maintain its legendary status.
Careful selection work has stabilized its genetics for consistent quality and potency, ensuring that OG Kush Regular remains a staple in the cannabis community, highly valued by both growers and consumers.
OG Kush Regular Strain Awards
OG Kush has consistently demonstrated its elite status on the international competition stage, earning top placements across multiple editions of Spannabis and the High Times Cannabis Cup. At Spannabis, it secured 2nd Place Hydro (2010), followed by an impressive 1st Place Hydro (2011), confirming its exceptional performance in hydroponic cultivation.
In addition, OG Kush achieved 3rd Place Best Flower (Coffee Shop category) at the 2014 High Times Cannabis Cup, further cementing its reputation for premium flower quality, terpene richness, potency, and overall connoisseur appeal. These repeated accolades across years and judging panels reinforce OG Kush’s standing as a benchmark strain within the global cannabis industry.
OG Kush Regular Sativa or Indica?
OG Kush Regular Seeds is a hybrid, predominantly 60% Indica / 40% Sativa. However, unlike a typical Indica, this strain is renowned for its powerful, euphoric, and cerebral Sativa like effects. It delivers an uplifting, happy buzz, making it ideal for daytime use, social gatherings, or creative projects, not for winding down.
Moreover, this strain exhibits its hybrid nature in its growth, often growing tall and “stretchy” with significant internodal spacing, rather than bushy with broad leaves. Its effects confirm its Sativa dominance. Users can expect a potent, mental stimulation that effectively alleviates stress, balanced by a warm body relaxation that does not lead to sedation or sleep.
OG Kush Regular Effects
The effects of this strain are primarily cerebral, euphoric, and stimulating. It is a popular choice for individuals seeking powerful relief from stress and anxiety, replacing them with a happy, uplifted mood. Users often report a potent head-high that sparks creativity and conversation, balanced by a gentle body relaxation that eases tension without causing couch-lock. This strain is beneficial for Arthritis, Insomnia and Pain.
Additionally, this strain is well-regarded for its ability to provide a balanced experience that combines mental clarity with physical relaxation. The comprehensive relief offered by this strain makes it a favored choice for both recreational and medicinal users looking for a versatile and potent cannabis experience.
Germinating OG Kush Regular Seeds
It is important to germinate your weed seeds carefully if you want to have a healthy harvest from day one. Although there are several methods to germinate our Regular cannabis seeds, at Blimburn Seeds, we recommend our customers to follow our easy and simple technique. Before removing our OG Kush Regular seeds from their packaging, remember that cannabis seeds are alive and delicate. Our hands are full of bacteria that can easily infect seeds and ruin our germination.
Set Up Your Germination Station: Begin by moistening two paper towels with room temperature water. Lay one paper towel on a plate and spread the seeds on it, spacing them about 2 cm apart. Place the second paper towel on top of the seeds, and make sure to remove any excess water from the plate. Cover the setup with another opaque plate and store it in a warm, dark location.
Monitoring: Make sure paper towels are still moist by checking every 4-6 hours and spraying room temperature water. Typically, germination should occur within 24 to 120 hours. Once the seeds have sprouted tap roots, plant them with the roots facing down and cover with about 2 cm of soil. Remember to water the soil regularly by spraying to keep it moist. It may take up to two weeks for the plants to start growing.
Ideal Conditions: Maintain a consistent temperature of 70-90ºF in the germination area. Use purified room temperature bottled water with a pH level between 5.5 and 7. Keep the seeds away from light, allowing exposure for less than 1 minute before and during germination. Avoid touching the seeds or applying pressure to them.
Record Keeping: To qualify for the three month germination guarantee, it is necessary to follow all the steps outlined in our germination guidelines. Please do not use alternative germination methods, such as using a water bottle or planting directly into soil. Document the germination process through photography or video, as it will be requested when assessing claims for replacement products.
OG Kush Regular Seeds Flowering Time
This regular strain has a moderate flowering time, typically ranging from 8 to 10 weeks. This period allows the plant to fully develop its potent effects and rich flavors. Growers appreciate this manageable flowering period, as it balances quality yield with efficient cultivation.
Furthermore, this strain is known for its resilience and robustness, making it a reliable choice for cultivators. Its ability to withstand common pests and diseases, combined with its moderate flowering time, ensures a successful and rewarding growing experience.
Grow Info OG Kush Regular Seeds
OG Kush Regular seeds can be grown indoors or outdoors under optimal conditions. This strain is famous for its significant “stretch” during flowering, growing tall and lanky rather than compact. It requires support and training (like ScrOG) and ample vertical space to manage its growth and maximize yields.
You can use different growing methods to retain and enhance the terpenes and flavors of your OG Kush Regular buds.
Use a quality substrate. Perlite, peat or coco coir are ideal for moisture retention.
Thanks to the experience of our customers with our OG Kush Regular seeds, we know that we can increase yields up to 20%.
For optimal indoor cultivation, Blimburn Seeds advises wide, vertical spaces and the use of the ScrOG method to obtain a uniform plane and increase the size of the lower flowers. If you plan to grow our Regular seeds outdoors, we have developed a grow guide for optimal cultivation in any area of the world.
Remember that our cannabis plants also need good nutrients when our Regular seeds are seedlings, in their vegetative period and finally in their flowering period.
When you grow cannabis seeds outdoors, choose the best date for your crop, a place where our cannabis plants receive the most hours of sunshine. If on the other hand you like to grow your Regular seeds indoors and you have good tents, textile pots for growing, led lighting, air extractor, to circulate clean air and of course a good carbon filter to avoid problems with neighbors or the law. Keep daytime temperatures between 68-80 ℉ and nighttime temperatures 7 to 9 ℉ cooler than the day.
These plants need low humidity to thrive. Keep relative humidity (RH) levels at 55%-60% during the vegetative phase. Reduce RH to around 40% during the flowering phase. By harvest time, you can reduce RH to 30%.
Outdoors, breeders in the northern hemisphere should sow their cannabis seeds in April for harvest
