Origin
The Auto Somango strain originates from renowned Dutch seed banks in Amsterdam, offering a faster version of the famous award winning Somango. It is a cross between Big Skunk Korean, Jack Herer, and Ruderalis, blending powerful genetics with the unique autoflowering trait.
This hybrid carries the strong genetic influence of Skunk #1, Northern Lights, and Haze, which contribute to its robust growth and medium yields. Growers favor Somango Auto seeds for their consistency, resilience, and the rich terpene profile inherited from its legendary lineage.
Somango Auto Sativa or Indica?
The Auto Somango is predominantly indica, 25% Sativa / 75% Indica, with a relaxing, body focused effect that makes it ideal for unwinding after a long day. Its genetics are rooted in Skunk #1 and Northern Lights, two legendary indica strains that shape its effects.
Though it carries some sativa traits from its Jack Herer and Haze ancestry, the indica dominance shines through. Growers of Somango Autoflower seeds can expect compact plants that produce dense, resinous buds with a calming and soothing experience, perfect for relaxation.
Auto Somango Effects
The Somango Auto offers deeply relaxing effects with a pleasant, soothing sensation. Thanks to its Skunk #1 and Northern Lights genetics, it delivers physical relaxation and stress relief, making it perfect for evening use.
While primarily indica, the strain also provides a mild cerebral uplift, thanks to its Jack Herer and Haze genetics. Whether you’re cultivating Somango Autoflower seeds or enjoying its effects, this strain offers a balanced high with an earthy, tropical flavor profile that enhances the overall experience.
Germinating Auto Somango Seeds
It is important to germinate your Somango Autoflower cannabis seeds carefully if you want to have a healthy harvest from day one. Although there are several methods to germinate our Autoflower cannabis seeds, from Blimburn Seeds we recommend our customers to follow our easy and simple technique.
Before removing our Auto Somango cannabis seeds from their packaging, remember that cannabis seeds are alive and delicate. The PH of our hands full of bacteria can easily infect them and ruin our germination.
Set Up Your Germination Station: Begin by moistening two paper towels with room temperature water. Lay one paper towel on a plate and spread the seeds on it, spacing them about 2 cm apart. Place the second paper towel on top of the seeds, and make sure to remove any excess water from the plate. Cover the setup with another opaque plate and store it in a warm, dark location.
Monitoring: Make sure paper towels are still moist by checking every 4-6 hours and spraying room temperature water. Typically, germination should occur within 24 to 120 hours. Once the seeds have sprouted tap roots, plant them with the roots facing down and cover with about 2 cm of soil. Remember to water the soil regularly by spraying to keep it moist. It may take up to two weeks for the plants to start growing.
Ideal Conditions: Maintain a consistent temperature of 69.8 ºF – 78.8 ºF (21 ºC – 26 ºC) in the germination area. Use purified room temperature bottled water with a pH level between 5.5 and 6.5. Keep the seeds away from light, allowing exposure for less than 1 minute before and during germination. Avoid touching the seeds or applying pressure to them.
Record Keeping: To qualify for the three month germination guarantee, it is necessary to follow all the steps outlined in our germination guidelines. Please do not use alternative germination methods, such as using a water bottle or planting directly into soil. Document the germination process through photography or video, as it will be requested when assessing claims for replacement products.

Whether you’re growing Somango Autoflower seeds indoors or outdoors, this strain’s adaptability and robust genetics allow for high quality yields in a relatively short amount of time, providing a rewarding experience for both beginners and experienced growers.
How To Grow Auto Somango Seeds?
Somango Autoflower seeds can be grown indoors or outdoors under optimal conditions, to avoid any problems during their development. Although they are compact and robust, moderately easy to grow and hardy, we should always prevent any pests.
You can use different growing methods to retain and enhance the terpenes and flavors of your Somango Auto buds.
Use a quality substrate. Perlite, peat or coco coir are ideal for moisture retention.
Thanks to the experience of our customers with our Auto Somango seeds, we know that we can increase yields up to 20%.
Autoflower cannabis seeds are a very popular strain among cannabis growers. They are known for their fast life cycle and their ability to flower automatically after a set period of time, rather than relying on changes in the light cycle like other cannabis strains. As for the hours of light needed, Autoflower weed seeds can grow and flower with as little as 12 hours of light per day.
Unlike other cannabis strains, they do not need a specific amount of light to go from the vegetative cycle to the flowering cycle. We recommend 18/6 or 20/4 to obtain High yields. This means that growers can have greater control over the growing process and can create an optimal environment for their plants without having to worry about light time.
However, it is important to ensure that the plants receive enough light for healthy growing, as the quality and quantity of light can affect the plant’s yield and growing. Another advantage of Autoflower seeds is their fast life cycle. These plants can grow and flower in as little as 8-10 weeks, which means growers can harvest several times a year.
Also, autoflowering seeds tend to be smaller and more compact than other strains, making them ideal for growing in small spaces or indoors. As for the quality of the marijuana produced by Auto seeds, it is important to keep in mind that genetics and growing conditions also play an important role.
However, many autoflowering cannabis strains have won awards for their taste, aroma and effects, proving that these plants can produce high quality marijuana. Remember that our cannabis plants also need good nutrients when our Autoflower seeds are seedlings, in their vegetative period and finally in their flowering period.
When you grow cannabis seeds outdoors, choose the best date for your crop, a place where our cannabis plants receive the most hours of sunshine.
If on the other hand you like to grow your Autoflower seeds indoors and you have good tents, textile pots for growing, led lighting, air extractor, to circulate clean air and of course a good carbon filter to avoid problems with neighbors or the law. Keep daytime temperatures between 68℉-80℉ and nighttime temperatures between 7℉-9℉ cooler.
Autoflower plants need low humidity to thrive. Keep relative humidity (RH) levels at 55%-60% during the vegetative phase. Reduce RH to around 40% during the flowering phase. By harvest time, you can reduce RH to 30%.
Outdoors: In the Northern Hemisphere, growers should sow their autoflowering cannabis seeds in April, achieving a first harvest in mid summer and a second harvest between July and mid October. Healthy Somango Autoflower seeds produce about 19 – 21 oz/plant | 550 –
