Thai landrace strains are renowned for their resilience and adaptability, attributes that have been honed in the tropical climates of Thailand. Origin
The origins of Wild Thai can be traced back to the lush and fertile regions of Thailand, where the climate lends itself perfectly to the cultivation of cannabis.
This strain has been nurtured by traditional farmers who have honed their skills over generations, ensuring that the genetic integrity of the plant is maintained.
The tropical environment of Thailand provides the ideal conditions for the growth of sativa dominant strains like Wild Thai, which thrive in warm temperatures and high humidity like others Thai strains (Thai Fantasy, Purple Thai or Chocolate Thai)
This natural habitat contributes to the strain’s vigorous growth and exceptional potency, making it a favorite among cultivators and consumers alike.
Wild Thai Strain Sativa or Indica?
The Wild Thai strain is predominantly sativa, with a phenotype composition of 95% sativa and 5% indica. This sativa dominance is evident in the plant’s tall and lanky structure, as well as its uplifting and energetic effects.
Sativa strains are known for their cerebral high, which is often accompanied by increased creativity and focus. Wild Thai exemplifies these characteristics, making it an excellent choice for those seeking a strain that enhances mental clarity and motivation.
While the indica presence in Wild Thai is minimal, it does add a subtle layer of depth to the strain’s effects. The slight indica influence contributes to a balanced experience, offering just enough relaxation to complement the uplifting qualities of the sativa. This harmonious blend makes Wild Thai a versatile strain that can be enjoyed throughout the day without the risk of overwhelming sedation.
Wild Thai Strain Effects

The combination of mental clarity and physical relaxation offered by Wild Thai creates a well-rounded experience that is both enjoyable and beneficial.
Germinating Cannabis Seeds
Germinating cannabis seeds is a crucial step in cultivating a successful crop, and Wild Thai is no exception. As a strain with a rich genetic heritage, it is essential to start with healthy and viable seeds to ensure a bountiful harvest. The process begins with selecting high quality feminized seeds, which are designed to produce female plants that will yield the coveted buds.
Once you have your seeds, it’s important to create the optimal environment for germination. This involves maintaining a warm and humid setting, with temperatures ranging from 70 to 90ºF. The use of purified water with a pH level between 5.5 and 7 is also recommended to support the delicate process of germination. By following these guidelines, you can give your Wild Thai seeds the best chance of developing into strong and healthy plants.
It is important to germinate your weed seeds carefully if you want to have a healthy harvest from day one. Although there are several methods to germinate our Feminized cannabis seeds, at Blimburn Seeds, we recommend our customers to follow our easy and simple technique. Before removing our Wild Thai strain from their packaging, remember that cannabis seeds are alive and delicate. Our hands are full of bacteria that can easily infect seeds and ruin our germination.
Set Up Your Germination Station: Begin by moistening two paper towels with room temperature water. Lay one paper towel on a plate and spread the seeds on it, spacing them about 2 cm apart. Place the second paper towel on top of the seeds, and make sure to remove any excess water from the plate. Cover the setup with another opaque plate and store it in a warm, dark location.
Monitoring: Make sure paper towels are still moist by checking every 4-6 hours and spraying room temperature water. Typically, germination should occur within 24 to 120 hours. Once the seeds have sprouted tap roots, plant them with the roots facing down and cover with about 2 cm of soil. Remember to water the soil regularly by spraying to keep it moist. It may take up to two weeks for the plants to start growing.
Ideal Conditions: Maintain a consistent temperature of 70-90ºF in the germination area. Use purified room temperature bottled water with a pH level between 5.5 and 7. Keep the seeds away from light, allowing exposure for less than 1 minute before and during germination. Avoid touching the seeds or applying pressure to them.
Record Keeping: To qualify for the three month germination guarantee, it is necessary to follow all the steps outlined in our germination guidelines. Please do not use alternative germination methods, such as using a water bottle or planting directly into soil. Document the germination process through photography or video, as it will be requested when assessing claims for replacement products.
Wild Thai Flowering Time
The flowering time of the Wild Thai strain ranges from 11 to 12 weeks, which is typical for sativa-dominant strains. This extended flowering period allows the plant to fully develop its buds, resulting in a robust and flavorful harvest. During this time, growers can expect the plant to reach its full height of up to 6.56 feet (2 meters), showcasing its impressive stature.
Patience is key when cultivating Wild Thai, as the longer flowering period is offset by the quality of the final product. The buds produced during this time are dense and resinous, with a vibrant array of colors that reflect the strain’s exotic origins. By providing the right conditions and care, growers can ensure a successful harvest that captures the essence of Wild Thai’s unique profile.
