Dilution Solutions Flow Restrictor, 3/4 in, 14 GPM (D14 Series) FR34-14GPM

Dosatron Flow Restrictor 14 GPM: The Inlet Guard for D14 Injectors This is the 3/4-inch, 14 GPM flow restrictor from Dilution Solutions, part number FR34-14GPM. It is a PVC inline part that holds line flow at or under 14 GPM regardless of supply pressure. Dosatron recommends one on the inlet side of any injector where the water supply could exceed the unit rating. The D14 series tops out at 14 GPM, so this insert matches it exactly. Municipal and well supplies often push more than that when the line is wide open. Without a limit, the water-driven motor runs past its design speed. That speeds up wear on seals and pistons and makes the dosing ratio less dependable. With the restrictor in place, the injector never sees more flow than it was built for. There are no settings to adjust. For the smaller D25 series, the matching part is the 10 GPM version. Installing a 3/4 Flow Restrictor Ahead of a D14 Fit the 3/4 flow restrictor on the supply side, between the main shutoff and the injector inlet. If the line has a sediment filter, place the restrictor after it so debris never lodges in the insert. A bypass loop with two valves around the injector makes maintenance painless. Confirm the orientation before gluing or threading anything. After installation, open the system to full demand and listen to the injector. A steady, even click means the motor is running inside its range. Pair the restrictor with a pressure gauge upstream so you can spot changes in supply over time. Keep the insert clean, since mineral buildup slowly narrows the passage. Growers moving to a larger injector later will need a restrictor sized for that unit. Key Features 14 GPM Cap: Matches the maximum rating of the Dosatron D14 series. 3/4 in PVC Body: Inline part sized for D14 series inlets. Inlet-Side Install: Dosatron recommends it wherever supply could exceed the unit rating. No Adjustment Needed: A fixed restriction with no controls to set. Protects Seals and Pistons: Keeps the water-driven motor at its design speed.
