Somebody is packing ounce jars today and wants each one to open the same way in March. That is the job, and the 8 g packet is built for it. One covers up to 28 g of contents, which is exactly an ounce, in a 2.5in x 2.75in pouch that lies flat under a lid. At 62% RH it sits at the setpoint most cured flower ships at. It gives moisture to a jar that has dried down, and takes it back after the lid has been off. The fill is plant-based glycerin and water, salt-free and 99% biodegradable, in a spill-proof tear-resistant membrane. Nothing in it crystallizes onto the material resting against the packet.
Bulk Humidity Packs for Ounce Jars, and Getting the Size Right
Getting the size right is a matter of matching the packet to the fill rather than the jar. An ounce jar filled to an ounce takes one 8 g packet. The same jar holding a half-ounce is better served by a 4 g, which covers 12 g. A quarter-pound bag wants the 67 g, and an eighth vial wants the 1 g. Oversizing is the more common mistake, and it simply means paying for capacity that never gets used. This case ships 500 packets loose, with no overwrap and no indicator cards, in a double-overwrapped master carton. That trim is what makes the per-packet cost work at line volume. It also means the whole case goes live the moment it is opened, so decant what today's run does not need.
Key Features
62% RH Two-Way Control: Adds moisture to a jar that has dried down and pulls it back after the lid has been off.
Covers Up To 28 g Per Packet: Matched to the standard ounce jar, where a 4 g packet would fall short.
500 Packets Per Master Case: Enough to run a packaging shift without breaking into a second case mid-run.
No Individual Wrap or Card: The bulk trade-off that brings the per-packet cost down for line work.
Double-Overwrapped Case: Holds the 2 year shelf life for as long as the case stays sealed and unopened.
100% Salt-Free Formula: Plant-based glycerin and water, so no salt residue transfers to the contents.
Spill-Proof and Tear-Resistant: Stays pliable through hopper and hand-fill handling without splitting open.
99% Biodegradable and Non-Toxic: Emits pure water vapor only, and spent packets go out with ordinary room waste.
FDA Compliant, Food Grade Inks: Cleared to sit in direct contact with the product it is packed beside.
2.5" x 2.75" Format: Lies flat against the wall of an ounce jar without crowding the contents.

How Much Does an 8g Pack Cover?
Up to 28 g, a standard ounce. The 4 g covers 12 g, the 67 g a full pound, and the 320 g steps up to five pounds.
Is 62% the Right Setting for Flower?
It is the usual default. 55% runs drier for long holds and dense material, and 69% runs wetter and suits humidors instead.
What Does the Double Overwrap Protect?
The master case, not the packets. Once the case is opened every packet inside is exposed to the room at the same time.
How Should an Opened Case Be Stored?
Move unused packets into an airtight tote right away and rotate stock. The two-year figure applies to a sealed case, not an open one.
