Wiggle Worm raises nightcrawlers on a peat humus rich in minerals and trace elements. What comes out the other end is a dark, crumbly humus with nutrients in two forms. The guaranteed analysis is 1-0-0, backed by 1% calcium and 0.2% iron. Of that nitrogen, 0.1% is water-soluble and feeds right away. The other 0.9% is bound up and releases slowly as soil microbes work through it. The castings carry an OMRI listing and CDFA registration as an organic fertilizer. They are non-burning, so they can go in thick around seedlings and fresh transplants. Growers mixing their own living soil use a bag this size as the humus base of a full batch.
