The HFC is primarily used to connect the Engineered Systems but may be adapted to other models as well when necessary.
The HFC provides the ability to adjust the differential pressure between the inlet and outlet connections to the irrigation system and ensure injection across a wide range of flow rates. This is especially important when attempting faster feed rates which require a higher differential pressure.
When compared to the standard Coupling Ball Valve, a few key elements set the HFC apart:
Larger inlet and outlet ports to connect larger diameter tubing
Large diameter venturi fittings for improved performance in lower flows
Full port ball valve with no reduction in diameter
