Netafim Manual Disc Filter – 2 Inch Dual HP / 120 Mesh

A full selection of highly efficient manual disc filters to clean any water source. Netafim disc filters collect debris along the depth of the discs, not just at the surface like screen filters. The disc helps filtration with calcium buildup. Plastic rings stack together creating a cylindrical filter element. During filtration, the rings are compressed together effectively filtering the water and protecting the system from clogging. Works well as a stand-alone unit or combined to form modular filter batteries. Applications Residential Commercial Municipal Institutional Features & Benefits 100% Thermoplastic Discs: Corrosion resistant. Disc screens prevent elements from collapsing. Replacement Filter Rings Available: Color-coded for easy mesh identification. Extra Large Filtration Capacity: Requires less cleaning. Disc Filter Technology Grooves in the disc rings crisscross to form a network that traps debris between and on the outside of the discs. How It Works As dirty water is pumped into the filter, and pressure increases, the water compresses the disc rings together tightly. The water is then forced to flow through the grooves of the disc rings, where debris is trapped, releasing only clean water to the irrigation system.
