Pindstrup Blond Special Peat Moss Mix is approved for organic production by ECOCERT Inputs and will provide consistent and amazing results. This substrate consists of a mix of responsibly sourced, screened European Blond Sphagnum Peat (0-6mm, 80%), Perlite (1-3mm, 20%), N-P-K + Trace Element Primer (550g/m³, E.C. 1.o – 2.5), Calcitic and Dolomitic Lime and a Wetting Agent. The pH level of the substrate has been adjusted to between 5.1 and 6.0. Pindstrup Blond Special Peat provides: a fibrous peat structure that allows faster plant establishment and even rooting throughout uniform water uptake and distribution improved drainage and dry surface healthy plants with less disease Best suited for germination, seedlings, microgreens. Please note, 300L bale volume stated as measured by the producer using the EN (European Norm) Volume system for horticultural substrates. Commercial horticulture uses bale breakers and peat fluffers during bale processing to fully decompress peat bales. Decompressing by hand will not be as effective unless an excessive amount of time is spent on the process. Expect a yield of 250 to 275 L when decompressing by hand.
