Strawberry Shortcake – Dark Horse Genetics

Strawberry Shortcake Regular Seeds by Dark Horse Genetics Super-resinous females with above-average yield potential, that’s the pull here, and it’s built on a Juliet x Strawberry Diesel cross that Dark Horse Genetics put together. Strawberry Shortcake seeds land in this catalog as a hash and extract play first, daytime flower second. What you’re getting is a sativa-dominant hybrid bred for resin, not just bag appeal. The Cross Juliet brings the sweetness, that strawberry note running through the aroma, while Strawberry Diesel brings the fuel funk and the sativa lean. Together they land on an uplifting, cerebral, mood-lifting effect profile, with myrcene, limonene, and caryophyllene doing the terpene work behind the sweet-and-diesel nose. What to Hunt For This is a regular pack, so expect a spread. Look for plants that lean Strawberry Diesel in structure and resin output, those are your extract-focused keepers. The Juliet side should show up in aroma sweetness and a more manageable sativa stretch, so hunt for the females that split the difference: resin-heavy, sweet-fueled, and not too stretchy. Running It Flower runs 65 to 72 days. Yield is moderate to above average depending on which side of the cross a plant favors, and difficulty is moderate, mostly because regs need sexing and there’s some sativa stretch to manage. Feed for resin production if you’re running this for hash or extract, that’s what the genetics are built to reward. Worth knowing: skip this pack if you don’t want to sex plants, this is regular seed and half your pack will be males. The window: Sixteen years I’ve spent tracking down crosses like this one, direct from breeders like Dark Horse Genetics, and that era is closing. Section 781 ends interstate seed sales in December 2026, and when that door shuts, Seeds Here Now stops selling seeds altogether. No restocks after that, so what’s on the shelf now is what’s left of sixteen years of work. Grab this pack if Strawberry Shortcake has a place in your garden or your breeding room, because once it’s gone, it’s gone. Don’t wait on this one.
